Personally I think Lucario's cool and all... but his Aura sphere... pretty much a Rip off of HADOUKEN and in japanese I believe aura sphere is said as Hadoudan.Related content

This is totally deliberate.
Others Fight Type Pokemon are based in users of various combat styles (Hitmonchan is a boxer, Hariyama is a yokozuna, etc) and Lucario (At least, for me) seem based in "Stereotypical hero of a fighting videogame", A.K.A. Ryu Hoshi.
The Aura Sphere as looking as a copy paste of Ryu's Hadoken, high physical and special attack (means as Lucario training both his body and mind, as Ryu) the same sense of justice, the same cool and lonery personality in both, etc...
Yes, Lucario is cool
And yes, Ryu just are tired of everyone copy his attacks
Beside it, no enough with it, Lucario also mimic Son Goku with his Aura Storm in Smash Bros Brawl (also Lucario and Son Goku share the same american voice actor)

Ryu came first in street fighter with his Hadouken. Then long time after, lucario, with aura sphere, which has the same exact style of movement and same ball shaped projectile.

OH that, yeah. There is the one with the REALLY fat thighs, then there is the better looking one with custom attacks, Basicly the fat thigh one has all of Ryu's Moves and 1 custom super.
