Description
It's rather hard to explain what kind of creature "laume" was. Well, before christianity, lihuanian people used to believe that Godesses, that control the sky and weather are very beautiful but wicked women and they called them "laumes". Laumes were usualy dressed in white c lothes with long skirts, that hide their chicken-like legs. Also, there is a legend that one laume had to marry Perkunas, the God of thunder, but she fell in love with the Moon and didn't arrive to the wedding. And at nights, when there's a full-moon, you can still meet that laume, walking in the moonlight, being with her lover.
