This dude is for , I'm so excited for this. Go join it so you can interact with this guy. He is going to be an adventure to RP, he is nothing like me or any of my other characters, personality-wise. XP

Name: Cael
Class: Forest Folk
Race: Fairy
Variant: Animorph (usually as a Stag)
Age Group: Adult
Height: Varies (but usually appears around 5'9")
Gender: Male

Build: Being a fairy, Cael's size can vary from anywhere from a few inches tall to roughly 5'9" (he doesn't seem to be able to get taller than that), but his physical build remains hansomely proportioned, but a little on the side of being slight or wiry. In his early experimentations with becoming an animorph, he experienced a magical mishap that made the antlers of his stag form a permanent feature, regardless of form. He prefers to usually appear human-sized, but is more than willing to adjust to the size that the situation calls for.

Occupation: "Procurer" would probably be the closest title. Cael is basically a proffesional at being an unproffessional. He makes his living through a wide, often shifty spectrum of means. He is well known for his deal-making, where he is sought out for his powerful magic which he is glad to lend... for a price. He is also a master of obtaining obscure materials, be it rare herbs, ancient artifacts, or your aunt's old locket that you pawned a few years ago. He has also been known to do a fair bit of gambling, lending, and debt collecting.

Personality: Cael is extroverted, charming, and loquacious. His moral compass requires a little creativity to understand, because it is not the same as the one that might be commonly accepted by society. His moral neutrality has led to an unsteady, often unsavory way of life- but in reality he is a fairly well-meaning soul with a good heart (even if it's hidden by a few layers). He appreciates the company of others, especially from those he finds amusing, or worthy of the good natured banter of intellectual equals. He is a smart, manipulative and crafty individual, but not emotionally complex, at least on the surface. He likes to have a good time, and loves to enjoy a giant tankard of mead (or four) when off the clock. He often claims to be decended from royalty, but this has never been substantiated... and the story tends to get more embellished with every successive tankard. Cael is a lot of talk, which is really a gift in his line of work. He can talk down an impending duel just as deftly as he can swindle a sucker into a terrible deal. He appears to suffer from a mild case of small man's syndrome, causing him to usually appear in his human size due to insecurities about his species' diminutive stature, but his tallest form still isn't that tall. Because of his lifestyle, he tends to avoid deep roots or connections, despite his endless desire for company. He tends to gravitate towards civilization more than a typical fairy, but is just as comfortable roughing it in the wilderness. He doesn't stay in one place for too long, and has broken a lot of hearts, and a lot of promises... but maybe someday he'll find a reason to stay.

Pre-Group History:
It would probably be to the surpize of everyone to discover that Cael actually is decended from a royal lineage. He can trace his family back to a prominent fairy king from his homeland, and he lived a blessed and pampered childhood as the child of lesser nobility. However, when he was still a young child, he was abducted from his home by a band of (mostly) human bandits. They had taken him with the intention of offering a ransom for the child, but were taken aback to find that Cael actually loved the situation he was in... he didn't want to go back. Cael stayed with them until he was a young adult, learning their dishonest crafts, and proving to be an indespensable source of magic and brains for them in return. He left their ranks soon after he was old enough to fend for himself, because as much as he loved their uninhibited way of life, he had never been suckered in to their level of malevolence and depravity. Cael was, as he always had been, out for himself first and foremost. He left them in the night without a single word, the years they had spent together meaning nothing. He flourished on his own, soon making a name for himself as a master procurer and powerful wish-granter. He makes a point to remain unattached from the complicated lives that people make for themselves, but can't seem to help the pull that keeps bringing him back to civilization, even if it's usually just a tavern. He's a simple creature with simple desires and not a whole lot of a plan, but can't shake the feeling that he's missing something.

Weapons/Accessories: A regular shortsword embellished with a large gem on the hilt, and a magical satchel that is slung across his back, that can contain far more than a bag its size should be able to.
