Thanks! I really want to work a bit more on her, specially adding quilting to her armor; I figured how to do it on a less time consuming way, yay!!

Welcome! And the quilting you do does look awesome. I don't think I've seen that done many other places, for armor detail, I mean. And extra double plus bonus that it takes less time now

I like how you didn't feel the need to make it really busty and sexy and impractical. This is really nice.

Thanks! though to be honest, since I'm hella gay maybe I don't have the need to sexualize her.

I just found some old drawings and damn; I got an are "are you fucking kidding me?" reaction from my bf; It was hilarious and hideous at the same time!

But seriously, it was complete and utter atrocity hahah!

I know that feeling, all my old drawings either resemble the old giant skulled aliens, or look like they had a free head shrinking!

Seriously, I could put a fashion show with all the designs I have KEK!!

Oh, angry orc armor is pretty cool, and sexier ;D. There's something to be said about orc and night elf armor skimpiness. Which reminds me, my nelf druid Aelos is coming next *weeeeeeeenk*

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Velynea In reply to Ramavatarama [2014-03-27 20:37:24 +0000 UTC]

Pfeh, orc and nelf skimpiness is the best. EVEN FOR BLOOD ELVES (and trolls, and tauren) xD

Gosh, if wow wasn't a 12+ game but 18+ rather, I could see quite a few females of certain races either having to chestpiece as at all, see trough dresses or one breast bare *herpderp headcannons* xD

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Ramavatarama In reply to Velynea [2014-03-27 23:05:15 +0000 UTC]

I definitely see troll and orc females going barechested or with small cloth or leather straps, and night elf females definitely would love their see-throughs XD.

Now I want to make some designs!!

Velynea In reply to Ramavatarama [2014-03-27 23:40:09 +0000 UTC]

For some reason I can see some very, very savage night elf sentinel being off duty, just wearing a loincloth xD Not giving shits ect. The highbornes would totally be see-through yea! And blood elves >_> I can even see them like being all fabulous in super expensive silks with one of their breasts bare and having her hair tactfully falling over it or something! I would love to have robes like that for my Lya in game ;_; but meh, 12+ so it won't happen. Just got to do with the robe the statues wear as well ;_;! We have the best head cannons for clothing *high five* (thankfully we don;t think like humans, but just as well, the races roleplayed when thinking about such things +1 for you xD)

AND DO IT

YOU KNOW YOU WANT IT! (and I want to seee them!)

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Ramavatarama In reply to Velynea [2014-03-28 01:00:27 +0000 UTC]

hehehe lol! I don't mind that the game is 12+, we have fanart for the rest!! I'm definitely going to work on some designs ;D

Yanno, even if I do think that blood elves are highly hedonistic and vain, I have trouble seeing them being all bare-bosom as a norm; cause I feel there's a conflict between their decadence and their properness -left over from their high elven days. I definitely can see it as a bold new fashion statement from the more aggressively changing sectors of society, thusly creating cultural conflict; being denounced as promiscuous by ones, and forward thinking by others.

I just like to think about blood elves a lot XD.

Velynea In reply to Ramavatarama [2014-03-28 01:43:53 +0000 UTC]

I imagined them more the way of dressing for high class nobles while being at high class parties, where they drink wine, smoke hookahs, chew on bloodthistle and lay back into a heap of cushions! Not yea, the thing a person would wear all the time, just in Silvermoon, but at special events, And I imagine there will be tactical hair placement and jewellery still involved though, with the occasional, eh tease, when drunk enough XD ! I always imagine blood elven women being very manipulative and having no qualms to do whatever to get what they want from men xD

But yes, I can imagine it is not your average daily Silvermoon wear to to speak, only at special occasions at that sort of gatherings! I think for your average wear bare bosom wear might be a tad over the top indeed! Showing off skin is still a very okay thing I imagine though, for noble women at least (or other rich ones!) I imagine wearing the robes like the statues in Silvermoon do might be a class status thing as well in truth. Yarp, another silly headcannon of mine. Can afford sexy, expensive, revealing robes (the AQ robes that is)? You must have done quite good in life so far (Or just be a spoiled noble xD but that's still good!)

And eep, I like discussions like these, they are very interesting

And I can't wait to see them No really, get to drawing them! Even if you just draw faceless elves with just details on the robes, I WANT TO SEE IT!

Ramavatarama In reply to Velynea [2014-03-28 02:49:29 +0000 UTC]

Oh yess, I quite like that!! Though I definitely see a class struggle between tradition and change, the "old guard" versus the new. There was quite the power shift with the assault of the scourge and the rebuilding that followed, so I think there's definitely a very marked schism between before and after, culturally so.

People that rose to power after becoming blood elves would be bold, in defiance of their older statements, and that would come in conflict with older traditions of proper and elegant, and how dichotonomous fashion styles could be regarded as "high end" given the way of thought they steem from.

I mean, we are talking about politically charged fashion here, have to love them blood elves!!!

Velynea In reply to Ramavatarama [2014-03-28 14:49:07 +0000 UTC]

Oh yes, I can't imagine people who are stuck to the more high elven ways being all to happy with it!

And I imagine the more bold elves rose back to power indeed, or the ones who managed to horde a lot of money somehow. I just wish Blizzard gave us some more lore onto it in truth, instead of having to wait and see and make up our own things like this! Not that I mind, but it is always a slap in the face when Blizzard comes up with something retarded after years. Lordaerionian is a thing now, just as being a Dalaranian It sounds silly as fook.

Ramavatarama In reply to Velynea [2014-03-31 09:04:08 +0000 UTC]

I will always call being from Dalaran "Dalarani" and you will have to take that away from me with my cold death hands!!

I kinda like Lordaeronian tho, it is just so offuscating and I kinde like the idea of human paladin rper's having trouble yelling their kipple hehehehe.

I really believe there are some very intriguing power dynamics that blizzard hasn't really taken advantage off; elves seem to have a very heriarchical society, in the way humans do, and that is ripe for some political intrigue and depth. No race has had such an abrupt sociopolitical shift as the blood elves had, and beyond knowing that those most against where exiled to Quel'Lithien, we are not really privy of the more nuanced conflicts that surely where present.

No society just decides to completely do such a 180 -specially permanently- as the blood elves did, and even if it is state policy, there can't be total hegemony. I really like to think about the conflict that arose, and not only political, but cultural and social; how it changed tradition on the light of tragedy, but also on the face of endless, boundless possibilities brought by fel magic. There surely was something intoxicating about the prospect of starting completely new, risen as a pjoenix, and I'm sure that it came to conflict with more traditional looks on what honor, pride and what even means to be an elf, meant.

I totally agree with you on that one xD Dalarani sounds so much better!

I just dislike people mentioning it I don't know, specially in their TRP2/MRP descriptions. YOU ARE NOT LORDAERONIAN YOU ARE HUMAN IN YOUR RACE BOX >______________> *flips thousands of desks*

Many people are severely disappointed in the lack of effort Blizzard is doing. I was so let down when nothing happened between Lor'themar and Jaina within the Isle of Thunder. The Sunreavers, are as far as I'm aware, still being held within Dalaran, and not a word, not even in the upcoming novel, because gah, why give an elf a spotlight when we can have humans vs orcs?!?!?! Bah. So much missed opportunities. Again.

I have learnt to be patient with Blizzard; hey, it beats madness!!

I mean, I love me high elves, and I was so glad they had like this major thing going on MoP in the Isle of Thunder, that was really cool, even if so delayed XD.

Anyway, I'm still holding out for that Sunreavers prisoners resolution; such is the nature of the MMO and I have learn to accept it somehow, sometimes.

I've told all my rp friends to not ask my Sunreaver, nor my human Kirin Tor mage about Dalaran ect It is terrible to just have to go "Eh dude, OUR CHARS KNOW BUT WE DON'T SO DONT EVEN GO THERE PLEASE Q_Q" ect hahaha

But indeed, patience is a virtue, specially with Blizzard (new char models plox)

Ramavatarama In reply to Velynea [2014-04-02 21:59:08 +0000 UTC]

I do think it is save to assume that in absense of confirmation, Dalaran still has the captured Sunreavers in the dungeons. Maybe after the events of Isle of Thunder and the Siege of Orgrimmar there have been some talks between Jaina and Lor'Themar, but no accord has been reached yet.

So for a blood elf it would be like "our brothers are still rotting on the dungeons of Dalaran" and for a dalaran mage it would be "We still have those bloody elves on our city, taking up space in our dungeons!!"
