Why not both? I had an alternative idea where instead of hell being hot and covered in flames I thought what if it's at the deepest part of the ocean where you can't see anything but you feel unfamiliar and enormous sea-creatures circulating around you. Considering how little we know about the ocean depths, I thought it was an interesting idea c:
