**DA2 SPOILERS BELOW**Arishok: Hawke! Stand and fight me!
Hawke: $*&@!!!
Pretty much how my duel with the Arishok went.
I'd run around for about a minute, and hit him with a spell every so often.This is why we have Varric for embellishment.

Turns out that this duel is insanely easy when you play as an Archer/Shadow/Assassin.Β Never even took a hit! Β

exactly what I actually did running around In fear.. and waiting for him to hit a wall.. STRIKE and hit him finally!

I found myself running from him a lot except with my mage.

Oh dear. I did a playthrough with a creation mage. My Arishok battle closely resembled this! Too funny!

ThatΒ΄s exactly how my battle looked too....except that i was a warrior and had no clue how to get near enough to hit him without being torn apart XD

I didn't really have that Problem with my mage. I pretty much had every single defensive spell that the games gives you and i took almost no damage xD
But on the other hand, i didnt do much damage either, so occasionally i had to run around too, to recharge.

completely...and utterly..embarassingly..true... lol thank god for the dog ^.^ the whole time i was cursing fenris to the void XD and i always wondered what would happen if the Arishok tripped when he charges... road rash.... srry im rambling lol.

OMG thas what I did ''asi mismo hice yoooooooooo'' Dios mio y yo decia 'He's going to kill meeeeee' them he use his horms agains me TOO!!! went he stop in the wall them i hit it twice and trown him a gas bomb (para asegurarlo) and if tha didnt work i trown him a fire one aaahhh poor Arishok....

That's pretty much how my duels go....I charge in trying to do as much damage as I can then he runs me threw with that sword of his then lifts me off the ground. I feel better that I'm not the only one that has ran away from the stupid giant.

Makes me feel better knowing lots of people did this... x] my entire party had died part way through the fight and I was waiting for my resurrection spell to cool down...

That's what I did on my warrior, except it was run, smack him a few times, continue to run as I drink a stamina potion and repeat lol.

I ran in figure eights with my mage... ran in figure eights with my warrior... then, when I thought all hope was lost, my rogue pwned

I would just run, cast spell, run, cast spell, get hit, and cast healing spell XD

This is not only how the Qunari fight went for me, but every boss fight I ever had. But especially the Qunari one. After a while I just decided to go, "Y'KNOW WHAT FENRIS? NO. NO MORE DUELLING. YOU CAN HELP ME FIGHT HIM, GET YOUR ASS OVER HERE."

When I went with my rogue, I was ok. My mage, nada. Just like this. I imagined Amberley running around yelling to the rest of the party "I think you should know this is the stupidest fight I have ever fouuuuuuught....~!"

I fought like this too, pausing every so often to freeze him in place and I imagine my Hawke running away would always yell "SCREW THIS!!"

I still have yet to defeat him. Run around for about twenty minutes, every so often stopping to hit him once with daggers, get hit, take a potion... Repeat as necessary. T-T Impossible.

I've tried a total of ten times now..... *sob* I restarted. Turns out, it's much easier if you just befriend Isabella..... T-T

LOL! As far as I can tell thatβs how most peoples battle with the Arishok went.
I can only imagine the look on all my companions faces as I ran for my life like a coward and attacked when I could. Not a very impressive way duel to for Isabella, but effective.

LOL. Fantastic! That's how my rogue did it, too. Potions, tar bombs, assistance from Dog, dirty fighting, and uh, yeah, a ton of running around those pillars in Keep.

This is how my fight went with Arishok as well when i faced him as a rogue, lol! XD I could only face him head on as a warrior.
