AH Title Card - Asiavision/ABU (Color)

Either under OTL Australia or its ATL counterpart, which included an English-speaking southeast (OTL southern Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania) that could mirror its RL counterpart within a multilingual and multicultural continent, this title card would indeed indicate to every Australian viewer that a continent-wide event like the Asiavision Song Contest was about to begin.

The title card in question was used in 1979 as the majority of Australian households have color television set, so the Australian Broadcasting Commission (later Corporation), who represented the country in the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU) made a variation of the ABU title card, using the Australian national colors (yellow and green), with the classic logo at the center.
