you should make an alien that looks like a hexapedel pronghorn

So, an intelligent, social, fruit-eating flyer? Since I'm making a new Red Earth creature batch right now, that's a good idea.

I'll make a small variety of them, one coloured, the rest just pencil (as you can see in this submission).

I think I once thought of an alien with the same name.

Well, the names of my aliens aren't that original, it wouldn't wonder me if others came up with the same names for their creatures.

maybe the fishlike common ancestors of the ikran and the leonopteryx in Avatar resembled fish like this kind, i like it

Possibly, but we never saw any fish in Avatar, so possibly the Ikran ancestors looked more like rays than regular fish.

So the Pronged herring is similar to filter feeding whales, and because it doesn't use one pair of jaws either horizontal or vertical more than the other they have stayed at a relativly equal size, correct?

Not really, the horizontal jaws got already reduced in it's ancestors, the protruding parts are the lateral teeth of the lower jaw.

oh, i thought that they were jaws because most of their ancestors or similar species had two sets of jaws

Also do they move in a fashion similar to whales or dolphins or is it different?

Yes, dorsoventral movement, derived from the crawling movement of the common ancestor they share with armor worms.

AMAZING as always. sorry i dont respond right away, i've just been so busy with my midterms and my reading. I hope you dont mind but i often show your drawings to my freinds who.... are interested..... in possible life in other forms than those on earth. Also are you aware of beings that exist in the 4th density or dimension?

No, I do not mind, and make sure they see Snaiad, which is a very interesting exobiology project.
Unless you mean time with the fourth dimension, no.

I almost forgot about Snaiad. Nemoramjet..... amazing stuff he has! They can definately count on seeing this, thank you for reminding me. 4th density would be a better term, its similar to your concious body, or if your religious, soul. It is said that your 3rd density "body" is left behind as your energy changes to the 4th density. There are some interesting portrails on google. but they are very interesting.

The pronged herring looks a lot like something I drew a while back, freaky.
