Shep and Balloon seem a tad uneasy about the new anomaly, and something seems oddly familiar about the man who dropped it off. Can't quite place it, though. Or I might just be going crazy. Either one is possible.

Shep's just worried someone else is going to be the center of attention for five minutes.Β
Huh. Weird. Well, he's gone forever, so don't matter.Β

Also this page was originally like two pages of technobabble until I realized not even I cared about my bullshit psudeoscience.
I wasted a good long time doing that in my works until I realized that was true, good on you.
"Anomalies make it go bleep" is adorable anyway.

I think it's a lot easier to get away with that kind of thing when you're in the writing phase, because it all feels important and needed as you're writing it. I end up cutting a lot of dialog when it comes time to draw because it doesn't add anything and I don't want to draw it.Β

I admit to starting at the painting for a really long time because I thought it might be alive.

Not necessarily alive, but the scene does slightly change from page to page.
