Is it right to sell someone's commission as a print? Doesn't seem like you should sell an artwork someone specifically paid for.
"Posting by request" isn't the same as "posting as a print."

The commissioner doesn't have any commercial rights of the commissioned work. It's like a paid request. The artist has every right to sell prints of commissioned work, the art is still owned by the artist. Unless you have a contract in which says otherwise. If there's no contract, then all the rights are with the artist. Why do you think commissions are so cheap? Freelance artists earn 50 to 80 euros per hour, and their employers (commissioners) mostly do have certain commercial rights.

i understand that but you were also replying to someone about the commission and as someone who also got one from ramy, i was wondering why you'd want him to put it up as a print when you'd just get the jpeg. as with DA's set up, the artist really doesn't profit from you buying their prints. didn't make sense, that's all.

I paid him for the commission through paypal so he made good money off of it. Trust me. Ha ha! 
It was just easiest to get the print straight from DA too, since they already have my personal information.

I think I asked this before, but I got a print some time ago at Anime Vegas of Zack Fair in a style that looks just like yours, I've been wondering if you were the artist. It didn't occur to me at the time to ask the person selling the prints. o 3o

But, honestly, I have seen this before. From you, and countless others.
My problem with this isn't the proportions or lineart--as that is fairly well done--it's just a problem with originality and lack of a unique vision.
I'd really like to see something new from you. Like... Somebody jumping or fighting, with varying expressions.
