Oh, very nice design! The way the triangles point fits to the poses, but I would have thought that Zim would have gotten the triangle pointing down due to similar compositions in Irken iconography.

thanks for your insightful observations! the design goggles never come off once they go on.
the poses appeared in my head first and i wanted to compliment them.
i rationalized zim getting the upward oriented one because 1.) pyramids associated with empires and 2.) i really wanted his antennae to complete the triangle rather than interrupt it. like really. a lot.
