Description Groda (2015) is its name, which is Swedish for frog.

Groda is an androgynous frog character inspired from Starbound's (computer game) amphibious race the Hylotl and the Egyptian fertility goddess Heqet. The third eye symbolizes perception and gives a sixth sense to perceive time.

This was my first sculpture made out of polymer clay.  I used various colors as seen by the lack of mixing: Grey, Brown, and Black. This was made in 2015 when I didn't know how to mix polymer clay, as I now know how to mix, the marbling gave Groda some character which my audience has expressed some interest in.  I used a galvanized steel wire armature support inside.

This was a mother's day gift and meant to stay in the garden during the summer, but three years later in 2018 it was discovered after one of the hottest summers that the heat had broke one of the legs. It no longer serves its purpose as to being the garden guardian and will remain inside.

This post was deleted on accident, so I'm reuploading it with a different photo format.
