A few years back I created her concept aimed for a story I wanted to make with a gothic/punk theme told in the viewpoints of the villians.

Her back story follows that of the Greek's Minotaur conception with a new twist. Her mother was the human woman Pasiphae, her father the bull Asterius. From thier love Miya was born. Pasiphae and Asterius's daughter was seen as an abomination to the world. Miya was to be put to death, but Pasiphae intervened and told Asterius to hide the babe away, as she new the bull loved his daughter dearly. Asterius vowed to raise and protect his daughter in her name as he fled with the child. Pasiphae was found out for her deception and hanged. This helped give way for Miya's hatred towards human kind as she became an adult.

In the same course I made Asterius for another project. You'll see him take the role of Taurus in my Zodiac series of hybrid creatures.

Mediums used: masonite board, acrylics, watercolors, ink and sharpies
