There was nothing...just death.

Just death, living in the hollow shriveled up faces of the withered corpses lying half buried beneath the sand, flesh long being digested by nature's course.

Just death, living in the sand -in the silence that brooded eerily in the heat.

Sickness, hunger, a bullet...who knew what claimed those that lay here in the sand. There, in the sand was nothing...just silence, continuing on until the very bones became part of the sand dunes, forever rising and falling as the wind took and left.

Here were only death...and he could feel it touching his shoulder.

Heyo all, how are u? been awhile again huh. I do apologise. i have been ill n having a party with fever. anyways have a low quality scribble of Merc's Paradise as i get back into art and finishing what i owe.
