I don't mean to be rude, but it IS wrong (taught wrong) with the sentence structure you've set up, it would not work. It would if you'd started this as "There's only one pony that'll kill him. It's me" in your set up, "but the only pony that will kill him, IS me" is correct. .......the only pony that will kill him it is me....is not correct, nor does it even SOUND correct. If English isn't you're first language, then please trust me on this. ^^
