Well... Once upon a time, me and *Nightcitylights went to Jordan. The country turned out a real discovery to me.

This is Petra - the main city of old Nabatean civilization. Those people were crazy, look how giant their buildings are, cut out of whole rocks! A totally mind-blowing experience!

If you choose to go there, have an advice from me: Go on your own and stay at a hotel in Petra, just outside the whole museum complex. They sell tickets for a day, for two days and for three days - they have reasons for doing so. We took a two-day ticket and didn't manage to see everything there.
