Description This is really a goofy picture, but I liked the lighting and focus, so here it is. The subject is Rana, one of two African Dwarf Frogs I recently wound up with. She struck this adorable pose that made her look like she was dancing, and I just *had* to get a picture.

Hello, my name is Sarah Beth. I have a website on these frogs, and I would love if I could have permission to use this photo on my website for reference to them, or just in the photo gallery. The site is [link]
I hope I can use the photo! All rights will be yours, and a link to your deviant artprofile will be displayed along with your username and anything else you'd like.

Sure thing; knock yourself out. Sorry I didn't reply sooner - I haven't been on here much lately.

I would get frozen or live foods for these. They have crappy vision and operate more by vibration and sense of smell. Freeze dried and flake food tends to float near the surface (not where they hunt) and doesn't have much of an odor to it.

hokay--- I hope you don't mind being one of the people I searched the sort of pet I got, found someone else with it, and question >.>

But, at any rate:
I got two of these little guys teh other day, and was rather curious on their eating habits and that.
I've got a thing of BloodWorms, freeze dried food
and then flakes and ball things for Betta fish (since I have one xP).

Will they eat these, and, how often do they eat?
'cause, I've had them for three or four days now... and I don't think I've seen them eat (though, they sure are active enough!), and don't want them starving to death because I didn't know better D;

Freeze-dried is bad for them, and also for bettas, so don't use it! It can cause intestinal blockages and kill them. :<
Frozen bloodworms are good. They won't eat flakes, and I wouldn't use the betta food. There's a brand of food called HBH frog and Tadpole bites that is designed for aquatic frogs, it's good, and they'll eat it.

If your frogs are juveniles or really skinny, try feeding them once a day. Once they fatten up, you can feed every other day. c:

OH-- I did not know that about the freeze-dried D;
Thanks fer tellin' me, going to the petstore today, so THAT'll certainly be getting replaced, and these other things[hopefully] picked up.

Thank-you! :3

No problem! :> How are they doing?
Sometimes pet stores don't have HBH brands. Hopefully yours does. If they don't have HBH I'm not sure what you can give them to get their nutrition... I know people give them pieces of cooked fish, never done that myself....

They seem to be doing very fine to me.

They like to float about and beat up on the betta a bit ^.^;
I'm rather surprised the betta doesn't fight back o.0
They're a silly group it seems xD

We have quite a few petstores here.

I'm pretty sure PetLand will probably have this stuff.

And, if not, I bet I can find /somewhere/ to get it -nods-

They beat up your betta? o -o
Huh. When I had mine with my betta, they ignored each other until the betta got PO'd.

After that, I bought another tank. >_>;; Nobody got hurt, but I'm traumatized.

o.o
Oh dear.

Haha: when it comes to feeding they kinda beat on him.
And, every now and again in the evening.

Sometimes you can see the betta really eying them, but that's about it ^.^;;;
Ehhahh D;
