Red Shafted Flickers often visit my backyard, the big horned owl however I had to search for in an area called Sauvie's Island in my search for photo references for paintings like these. This painting is an acrylic.Related content

Well it looks like some Japanese cheery trees have been planted by the coast, and it looks like the birds are settling pretty well on it as well.
