I've done a series of faces that we sell at art shows. I'll be posting them soon. All of them are cartooney with the exception of this one. This is actually a life cast of me. My wife has to tell me to literally "Breathe" at times when I start stressing over stuff which is the inspiration for the title.
It's amazing what a deep breath or two does to unclog the brain.
The expression I have is an actual look of panic from the claustrophobia I felt when the algenate, I plunged my face in to, wasn't setting up. It set up the second I had to pull away to breathe. All of our faces sell really well, but this one sells the best. Even after I tell them that it's my ugly mug they are buying. I also did a casting of two hands holding a newspaper that mounts on the wall as well.(to be added soon as well.) They are normally mounted above people's toilets.
I have no shame.
