Really like the finishing quality it's been given, picks out the qualities and shapes you've worked into it.

Thanks so much Rich!
I was really happy with how the patina came out. I didn't want to create a strong pattern for fear of it taking away from the lines in the sculpt.
I also wanted to make the colors subtle without one color overpowering the other.
Glad you like it man!
Take care

Thanks so much!
It has a bronze rod (about 1/4 inch thick) welded across the inside so it can hang from a nail or screw.

I think bronze is the perfect material for this sculpture. It has a certain feel to it that simply fits the theme. I really like it!

Yeah, I think that sounds really great as well. Especially if you think about all the gothic elements of the old cathedrals; the texture of the stone has a very distinct characteristic. With a little work a resin cast can be turned to look like stone. It of course would have to be painted as well, but I definitely think it's possible!

Thank you so much Tim. I definitely want to do more gargoyles.
I had a blast with this patina too. The smooth surface really lent itself well to the subtle variations and patterns.
Thanks again my friend!
Take care

Thanks so much!
Yep, I did the patina.
I used to work at an art foundry for 6 1/2 years and all I did was patina the bronzes there...That's where I started my training.
Thanks again!
Take care
