Aeliana's clothing and armor are items she acquired on the road, in less honorable ways, from a traveling merchant, her favorite being the worn dark blue cloak made from thick, durable fabric. Aeliana's physique is born from a life of a vagabond, her lean frame evident under her clothes.

Aeliana is highly skilled in all things thieving, primarily lock picking and possesses keen, deft hands. She is also highly experienced with her dagger, and her natural talent for sneaking has helped her in her career as a thief and a Ranger. Aeliana's natural grace as an elf, coupled with the ability to slip into the shadows, makes her an excellent recruit to the Rangers. Aeliana trained under a Ranger named Aldarion Ursa alongside his son, Thalon.

Aeliana has taken a liking to sneaking around the city of Lyriandar and the grounds of the Homestead, which has gotten her into quite a bit of trouble. Aeliana is also quite the bookworm and spends some of her time in the mage's tower, exploring the massive underground library. Aeliana was born in a small town called Hemlock's Ridge, far west of the continent, and when she was 17, she made for the city; nothing left there for her. Aeliana fended for herself on the roads, taking work in the villages she passed through, sometimes having run-ins with law-keepers. Aeliana traveled for several months before she reached the city, and Aeliana was met with hatred. In Hemlock's Ridge, the bigotry wasn't unknown, but it never went beyond distasteful looks. Here, it was so much worse, devolving into offensive language, foul terms, and violence thrown her way. Aeliana kept to herself, relying on her skills to keep her alive, and took refuge where she could find it. One rainy night, however, her fate was changed forever when the act of slipping into a tavern erupted into chaos. The tavern's owner was not keen on elves and refused to serve her. It wasn't uncommon, but she hadn't realized that there were a few Rangers that night. In the heat of the moment, Aeliana was the first to throw a punch, resulting in a fight with the Rangers, one of whom was Thalon Ursa. By the time law-keepers had been called to the tavern, everyone was sporting injuries; the worst off were the three Rangers. Aeliana was taken by the law-keepers and locked away for the night in one of the city's guardhouses. That following morning, Aldarion, having heard what had transpired, visited the guardhouse. He saw a spark in her and had a good laugh at his son getting his ass handed to him by a small elven girl. Aeliana was released, and Aldarion extended an invitation to the Rangers' Homestead. Aeliana soon joined the Rangers, a recruit under the tutelage of Aldarion. Aeliana would eventually find herself not wanting to be anywhere else, and as the years went by, the spark of a flame ignited between her and Thalon.
