this was a fan art done for the Quickening series by Fiona McIntosh!! im completely in luv with Myrren's Gift! this series is a MUST 4 fantasy freaks!!*shifty eyes* ...because this isnt a sales pitch...
this was my personal impression of an Ekon and the original is larger but my beloved scanner kinda failed (but i still wuv it) this pic is more specifically from Myrrens Gift when the mountain man (Lothryn? i 4get his name) and Wyl try to get back to morgravia and shoot a pack of ekons with their crossbows
3-4hrs and 1 fite with a class mate who nicked the 1st copy
his hat sum how ended up in the girls toilets...

Mhm I have, I do seem to see alot of links especially between McIntosh's Percheron, Quickening and Trinity series... regardless, they're all very well done. I read The Quickening first, so out of loyalty I like it the best. Yet Trinity is a very close second, love Kyt Cyrus.

Oh absolutely. The Quickening will still always be my favourite, to me the plot is the most facinating and well woven

Great book, and great drawing! I could never really visulise what an Ekon would look like or even how to start drawing one!
