Woww! I really love the colors! They looks so glamorous and the contrast plays well with one another! XD

I also like the texture of the emerald! It looks so beautiful and glittery! (And shiny! XD) no wonder rouge wants to steal it hahahaXD


hmm, a few critiques, though, rouge's anatomy is too humanlike, and her head looks too small and human-ish for a mobian


But overall, great job! Also the longer hair looks interesting XD kinda makes her look older and more mature XD

Thanks! I actually prefer this "human-like" look. I guess, it's just my style^^, but it obviously comes down to personal preference

Those sparkles on the emerald are perfect! Excellent and Beautiful job on Rouge but the only thing that seem a bit off are how big her gloves are. Other than that, very great job here! :3 ❀

Yes. (I was also surprised that I managed it so fast : o). The original painting (the speedpaint is sadly is not available at the moment :/) took a little more than 2 hours. (I took another 30 minutes to edit the colours in GIMP and to add the finer details).^^

It never gets boring for me If I didn't enjoy it, I would probably not do it. Adding the details and the shading are actually my favourite parts ^o^

For me, they are my favorite parts but just for a while. I mean if a picture takes me a really long time it seems like a chore other than an enjoyment. I like to practice shading and details but if I overwork myself and give myself too much to handle, as far as details, it becomes harder for me to do.
But it's really good that they're your favorite parts! That makes it more enjoyable for you and it really shows in your artwork! ^^

If it seems like a chore, maybe you should just take a break from that particular painting, and later come back to it. Try not to overwork yourself! Enjoy creating art at your own pace

True, a lot of times I will try to step away from it. And it does help a little bit. I think it first started when I was taking commissions. I would enjoy a break by doing my own personal art. (:

Thanks I actually finished this about a week ago, but I only wanted to upload it once I the speedpaint was ready (And now, the speedpaint doesn't even work anymore :/ I'm hoping to get my YouTube account back as soon as I can!).

Have you already watched the speedpaint? (I'm just asking because you wrote "the speedpaint looks amazing" )
I also really hope that I will get my account back soon :/ It irritated me because I only had the account for an hour and they already terminated it :/ I didn't get too upset though, since I didn't dedicate so much time and effort into it (but I noticed that there are so many other people who had this problem as well :/ Some of them lost all their videos and subscribers). If the account will remain terminated (and I have a bad feeling that it will) I guess I will simply make another channel and hope that it will work out!
I'm glad your friend seemed to like my work^^ I'll probably make a tutorial sometime soon, so if she is interested, you could show it to her^^
