I actually asked Reddit under r/Undertale for some thoughts about Asgore’s eyes. And after hearing what a few people said while watching the battle (thus getting the theme stuck in my head as I drew this). I decided that while I wanted his eyes to be orange on one eye and blue on the other… His eyes would just be Dark red like Toriel’s and only flash/spark Orange/Blue when he is attacking. Mainly because both eyes can flash both colors.
Also his sprite fur was pure white, and I sorta didn’t like that as a base color. Toriel will be the same when it’s her turn.
