good stuff! Not a colorist eh? The pic seems to say otherwise! - looks good - love the line art as well. Your comic anatomy is dead on. I like the detail on the wings too - I'm a sucker for angel art, .

Thanks! But I really am not a colorist - I chalk this one up to "dumb luck" LOL. Thanks for the comments though - greatly appreciated! And I am glad that you enjoyed it.....there may be a few more Angel pics coming in the future....we shall see, I guess.

very nice job, though i think that plain black and white suits your particular inking style better.

the colours realy aint that bad tho, love the multi tonal effect you have achieved with the feathers espacially.

then again i can't colour digitally too well, so anything looks better than what i could do...

I normally don't color - and I am just getting back into the inking process, after being away from it for a while - and I feel the most comfortable with the pencils. Thanks for the comments. Don't be so hard on yourself man - it takes time, and lots of practice....and a little patience

heh, thanks.

i'm not too sure if i'll ever have the patience - i'd rather spend my time making my pencils and inks better than start learning a whole new discipline.

i know that may sound a little lazy, but I think it's quite a realistic view. as you probably know there are some truly amazing colourists out there who do the most brain blowing work with other peoples pencils, and i doubt i would ever be able to catch them up skill-wise.

but that’s fine, because i'm happy just being a linework artist. well, for now anyway.

Master one at a time, instead of trying to master all of them once. Once you feel comfortable with the pencils, then expand to the inks. Then try different mediums. I too, prefer the pencils. Every now and then, I get a wild hair, and try to color. It's fun, and different. If it turns out half way decent, then I post it here....if not - then the trash can becomes it's home...LOL.

Personally, I prefer being a Lineart artist as well. No worries, man.
