As a college student in Law, he isn't one to fool around when it comes to work and resents attempts that make light of his effort. Combined with the fact that he is a young man, he hasn't mastered the art of seeing the world outside of his own little bubble. That means he takes care of his E.G.G. as far as he has to but not a step further. While his E.G.G. hasn't been neglected, it isn't loved either. It sits precariously in the middle ground. Even the color from his E.G.G. has drained, becoming more drab as he exerts his serious and work-focused life upon it. The E.G.G., Bedaru, has resigned itself to this and does not bounce around or roll as much as normal E.G.G.s do.
