Well... this was a weird experience. I'm used to going on trips, at least a couple days long, in a land cruiser with dirt, mud and dust all over the place looking long and hard for animals. Going to the zoo felt like i was cheating the system. You have to look long and hard for animals to get good shots. You can't follow a map to an enclosure where they're kept! That's just not right! Oh well. I went to the zoo today, and however weird it felt, it was nice to get some good shots of some interesting animals. Rarely have i been this close to a cheetah. And it feels good to know that the animals are being studied for conservation purposes, they're not just animals that are being kept from the wild for the fun of it.
