why thank you. ^__^
I used the combination of a half inch diameter wooden rod, white Crayola sculpting material (self hardening), and white paint.

This is so awesome compared to mine! Well, I didn't even really try on mine. I just wanted to see if it could be made using that crayola modeling clay. It works fine but I should have thought of putting a small wooden dowel in it like you did with yours. Man, I really like how yours came out! Great job! ^_^
So all you used was some Crayola modeling clay, white acrylic and acrylic sealant, and a wooden rod?

yup ^__^ and crazy glue totally helps since the molding material won't stick to the wood by itself.

ah, no, actually, though i considered it. the baton shaft is made of a half inch wooden rod, sanded to a round slightly skinnier tip. swirl applications were actually made from a self-hardening white Crayola molding material. whole thing painted white in several coats with an acrilic sealant finish.
but i did make the belt-buckle out of super sculpey.

i actually found a way to make them out of an acrylic material, the clear stuff used to make paper weights? mixed with an opaque green(or whatever you'd like) and poured into a mold. so it'll harden and be pretty and gem-like. I've been working on the mold since that'll be the hardest part.

Ha! That looks so cool! And it's all soft and smooth looking, so it really fits the cartoonish style of Wind Waker.
