Another lovely thematic photo, Angelika. Do you know the song "Autumn" by the Strawbs? It's one of the most beautiful, haunting songs I know and would seem relevant to your Ode to My Forthcoming Winter series. Here are some excerpts:
I sense autumn coming on
The mist has hung low all day
Small birds gather on the wing
Preparing to make their way
The trees begin to show a trace of brown among the green

My pleasure, Angelika. It's one of my favourites and I must confess that I get a bit choked up every time it reaches the climactic choral finale. Someone constructed a brilliant YouTube video of the song accompanied by images that would do any DA artist very proud! I constructed three of my own YouTube videos last March to combat boredom. They feature some of my best DA work before I actually discovered DA in late April. And yes, we're due for autumn as well here, of course, and I'm hoping to get to the spectacular Spencer Gorge for some shots of the leaves in the valley there.
