Having remade Kuroinu, I'd be up for the challenge of doing a fic based on the dark novel Goblin Slayer but instead of using Naruto, I'd use any of these fellows pictured above to take on the Goblin army.Though I'm dying to use either Daredevil or Spawn, what do you think?

The Yautja have a honor code and if they saw what the goblins do, they would enjoy killing them. Venom would enjoy killing them, Grimmjow would kill them if told why goblins should be killed off and Spawn would send them to extinction since sin increases his powers. Anyone on here would happily kill them off even Smaug would provided he be bribed with lots of gold.

That could work, they're hiding stolen gold they have taken from travelers.

And it could turn out that they really do and Smaug is so distracted by the gold that he forgets all about Cow Girl.

Of course though, goblins are spread out as a race and a goblin den has around 20 to 50 members so Cow Girl could tell Smaug there's more gold where that came from.

And since goblin slayer has been killing goblins for a long time, a decade or so maybe? The help of a dragon would complete his quest from years down to months. What I find to be complete bullshit about the goblin slayer anime/manga is that not a lot of people take goblin related quests due to "low pay" and only ones who do areΒ inexperienced adventurers which ends real badly for them.

Yeah, Goblin Slayer mentioned that Goblins breed pretty quick and they make captured women their playthings. Goblins are a major problem, not a pest problem but a major problem that causes trouble and needs to be wipd out. The guild needs to raise up the pay for goblin related quests and put out a decree that goblins are an epedemic that needs to be taken care of.

Yeah, other people consider goblins to be weak and stupid, but as the old saying goes, "looks can be deceiving". The first episode had a hobgoblin among the group along with a goblin shaman.

I can see them saying no to doing anything about something like Smaug, but ignoring the Goblins won't put them down.

Yeah someone like Smaug would unnerved them, but Smaug like all other dragons aren't evil, they do what they want to do.Β Smaug was simply a dragon that was content to keep his gold to himself and not care what happen throughout middle earth. He didn't care about the daily lives of others as long as they stayed away from lonely mountain and his gold, but here comes along a group of dwarves who want the mountain back when they should of moved on with their lives, a hobbit who is in over his head and a maiar in disguise as a wizard who should of left Smaug alone. Anyway, back on track, yes ignoring the goblins isn't going to to kill them off quicker it's just going to make the problem even worse. Yeah dragons are unpredictable and more dangerous than goblin hordes, but if you manage to bride them with something they like or get their respect then they will work with you.

Yeah, it sucks that heΒ died in the movie all because Gandalf was paranoid that if Sauron regained power, Smaug would join him. Sure he was at his side during the first age mostly due to Morgoth dying, but after Sauron fell from power he pretty much did his own thing and only attacked the dwarves mostly becauseΒ they got too greedy with the wealth they had amassed. Even if Sauron didΒ return, what would he have to offer to Smaug anyway? For all Gandalf knew, Smaug probably was going into hibernation before the War of the Ring began had those dwarves not be so pigheaded to bother him.

Ooo, tough choice. Goblin Slayer is my one and only, but I'd either go with Moon Knight or Venom. Daredevil also has an advantage for being able to use echolocation in a sense. Useful against the nocturnal goblins, but he's still my third choice. Who's the gold armor guy snuggled between Predator and Grimjow? And is Smaug also a choice?
