Excellent piece of drawing. The style used in this drawing gives it an incredible detail of a mix cartoony and serious style to it, making it have a presence full of colour and great, pleasent visual impact.
As well it can be said for this piece that russian legends, like other legends and myths not as popular, should be used since they can be a really interesting topic for a drawing, adding new and different themes and cultures to the table.
Only thing I could pick on this is that the colours aren't as vivid as the style would suggest it could or should be, but that comes off from a very personal part of my point of view.
Over all, this piece is a great one, you taking inspiration from a not that much known, lost culture and translating it to this format of art is wonderful and astonishing to the mind and eye.

p.s. But I'd like to correct your description a bit. Snegurochka ('Снегурочка') is a granddaughter of Ded Moroz ('Дед Мороз') and he is not his dad but grandfather. He is like a Russian Santa Claus, that's all )
'Ded' in Russian sounds (and spelled) similar to 'dad' in English, but means different people. Ded is only a quick form of a word that in English means grandfather
