Phew this one gave me the run around - don't you love it when you line, flat, highlight and start shading something only to realise you hate a certain part of it? 😐 Luckily I was able to chop up the image and reposition it the way I wanted!

This was a random 'I wanna draw the big man running' image - Bueller and his melanistic Borrusk, Mjonr!

Ruik don't use tack to steer/ride their Borrusk, it's all done using their legs, hips and shifting their weight much like Mongolian horse archers. Reins and neck ties are for emergencies and used as something to hold onto. Saddles are for long distance treks or hunts but otherwise they ride bareback. Lazier Borrusk like Eydis can be led via their reins on ambling walks and the like but it usually isn't the case with most of the clan members and their moose buddies!

The sky reference was taken from my bedroom window, one of the perks of being on the third floor! You're freezing cold in the winter, boiling in the summer, but the sky is pretty!
