Wow, this is really beautiful and emotional, even with its bright appearance. Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but this is regarding the time it takes to open up to someone, isn't it? How it feels to slowly bloom and reveal your true self to someone you trust in hopes they will accept you. It's especially hard once you've experienced rejection more than once. This is an absolutely lovely piece; amazing work!
