I am very bad at driving the Mako.I am fairly sure my fem!Shep is not actually licensed to drive it, but no one is brave enough to tell her she can't.
There are three of them in there because two was too boring... and anyway, based on the Feros mission, the Mako has room for four. Garrus strikes me as the type who would enjoy roller-coasters, I don't know why. Tali is too polite to comment on someone else's piloting/driving/whatever. Liara... well, this is her first exposure to Shepard's driving.
Also, I really (really really) need a different title, but I am not particularly clever today. I would welcome suggestions.

It's pretty much law now that if you're doing fan-art/fan-fiction of Shepard, they can never be a good driver.
Also, at least one person has to learn that Shepard can't drive.

Loved driving that thing. I can make it dance and even skid it.
I love driving, so anything that has an engine in it and can move, I will manage to drive it like a pro XD

I love imagining the reaction of my squad as I 'drive' the Mako.
(by 'drive' I mean 'send in a general direction at as high of speed as possible, and probably will roll it at least once a minute')

... Wow, I didn't even realize I'd picked all LIs. To be fair, this was drawn before ME2 came out, so at the time only Liara was a potential love interest.

Glad it made you laugh! And it's good that someone enjoyed driving the Mako - I was horrible at it, so it usually provoked sad faces and groans on my part when I had to make the attempt. XD

I actually drove well... I think... But it would have been funny to see her scream. Though that was satisfied in ME2 with the Shadow Broker mission.

That seems about right for the way the Mako handled...and I think Bioware made Shepard's driving being THAT bad cannon.
Always had trouble with that all terrain, never gets stuck vehicle. As for the passengers reactions...yeah that does seem pretty in character for what I thought about all three of them.

My friends and I speculated how the crew would react to our(shepard's) reckless driving and you have answered it in such a fashion, that I find it extremely humorous!

Driving the Mako frustrated me a lot in ME1.
Then I played ME2 and got the Hammerhead.
And I realized, I missed the Mako.
Go figure.

Oh man, I was so glad there was no more Mako is ME2... I didn't realize everyone else had issues with driving that thing, I'd always imagine the passengers just like this when I was doing a mission- its funny to actually see it drawn xP

Yeah, I was relieved it was gone, too! I think I assumed everyone had problems with it because it was driving a unicycle while trying to juggle three buckets of rocks.

... I managed to tip it over. More than once, actually. If it lands on its back, you get a game over.
I think I deserve style points for the time I tipped it over and dropped it on a Thresher Maw, though.

I actually landed the thing on its back multiple times and it spontaneously rolled over again... I had no idea why. Shepard on autopilot is obviosuly a driving God... and I am not when I control him.

Too funny. I was always imagining Kaidan yelling at my femshep about her driving and just making it worse. Not that driving off the world can get much worse.

I'm really bad at vehicle sections, but I was worse than usual with the Mako. Driving out of bounds, accidentally jetting off of tall mountains, running over the local fauna, getting eaten by thresher maws... I have bad driving down to an art, but the number of times I committed vehicular suicide is actually sort of impressive.
