The current female Worgen model makes me want to either laugh hysterically (and not in the good way) or scream. Or maybe cry, because the male model is AWESOME. Fierce and badass and awesome.And the female model looks like a chihuahua infected a Disney princess with lycanthropy.
WTF.
Suspect they may be having us on. Geeks are easy prey, and I'll be the first to admit it.

Well you'll get your wish. In 8.2 the worgen are getting graphic updates. Which mean female worgen that don't look angry.

A tim Burton infused victorian England people who's inflicted with lycantrophy. Everything spells awesome until the female character creation showed up. Your version looks awesome, bloody shame they didn't add that or atleast something similar.

The problem with me is, I have an entirely different design in mind when I look at my Worgen. She is a lot more bad-ass than what was given and it honestly embarrasses me to see a character I /want/ to put time into look like a bastardization of the male version.Β

As a player model, the left one would be perfect, as an enemy/feral the current one would be perfect because they have no control over them selves and are mostly instinct over sentience. Just saying, the left one would be great in the game, if only THE FUCKING BATTLE.NET PROGRAM WOULD WORK WITHOUT CRASHING EVERY TIME I BOOT IT UP!
(look in my journal and you'll see my problem, I'm also playing on a windows 7 hp, personally I'd rather have a Mac than this piece of trash!)

I love this sketch, but I also love the female worgen, she's my favorite character to play as. I think she looks powerful and could strike terror into the hearts of anyone who runs into one by happenstance, Besides, a worgen is a beast, it isn't supposed to look beautiful. I for one would rather play as a fearsome, powerful worgen, rather than a docile, "pretty" looking one.

You're certainly not the only one who finds the current model worgen female model absolutely awful. All I think every time I see one in game is... rabid chihuahua. Ugh. If they ever decide to fix them to look like your edit, then I'd definitely play one! Here's hoping that someday Blizzard will do some updating for them. *crosses fingers*

I would also have preferred if the female worgens were bulkier than they are now. They look like twigs in a battle, and to me it doesn't feel like I've turned into this powerful beast like I'm supposed to. It's the reason I like to stick to cat form more than the actual worgen form when playing my druid

I feel like the design they wound up going for is trying to be too many things - and for some reason, it seems like they sometimes have a problem reconciling badass and beautiful?Β Like, they turn both of them up to eleven (see: stupid snarl + eye makeup) instead of getting them to harmonize.Β It's weird, too, because there are a lot of animated canines they could have looked at for inspiration!Β I actually loosely based my 'should be' sketch on the dogs in Balto...

Blizzard can and has done 'cute monster girl' - the Worgen women miss it by about two miles, in my opinion.Β And personally, I'd like them better if they DID look like hirsute death on legs.

The body I'm not too worried about, and I think they would be just fine if their faces weren't so ugly and..awful-looking.
