To think that I saw this disgusting (in a good way) evil god when I was six years old. AT that point, this thing gave me nightmares at one point, seeing myself about to die against it... until Sonic shows up.
Seriously Unleashed has one of the BEST (if not the best) final boss and story ever made in the franchise. The treat was real and well done; A dark god, representing the earth swallowing Mobius (the best version) in darkness and you must stop it by not stopping the beast, but by taming and accepting the beast in you.

At least Dark Gaia was easier to defeat in the Wii/PS2 version of Sonic Unleashed; you don't have to deal with a quick-time event that instantly costs you a life if you mess it up.
