I love this piece. It visualizes what I feel most days and that is: worry, uncertainty, an overall pressure to succeed in life, among others. Of course, everyone has these kinds of feelings, but for an artist, I think its far more troubling. We create what we do, not only for ourselves (catharsis, etc.), but to provide a doorway in which others may escape the doldrums of daily life. Yes, there are those artists who create art strictly for themselves. But, for those individuals who do seek to gather an audience around and tell them a story in which they may relate, or otherwise simply be entertained and that audience is not listening...it all seems meaningless.
I do not know what your intentions behind "the truth", but the above is what I have taken from it. Thanks for sharing.

You're very welcome. It's easy to judge a piece of art just by looking at it and saying "I like it" or "I hate it". The real truth of the work will show itself when you look past the form and focus on the content. Once you have surveyed this landscape, the artists motives, if you are receptive, will show themselves.
I cannot say that every piece of art I view opens up to me in this way. In fact, I am just now beginning to understand what it is to truly appreciate art in any form. Yours just spoke to me, and I was compelled to answer.
