It would seem so. Honestly I can't confirm it. I think I remember hearing that name at the museum in Eureka on the coast... but that was in Jr. High... I should go back!

That's beautiful, especially with those glassy reflections on the water.
The frame seems to be going underwater a bit though in the foreground.

Thanks! The frame water thing was intentional. I wanted the frame to follow the plane of the reflection not the water! I like it.

yeah, it doesn't look bad. I just almost expect to see some sort of line where the view shifts to underwater...

I usually do something to that effect. I just couldnt bring myself to ruin that simple box. I made several version of this piece when I was framing it. My frames are usually too complicated... so I stuck with this! :Joy:
