The year is 1929 and a trio of unlikely heroes arrive in the bustling metropolis of Ocean City, each one bearing a letter from a mutual friend. Unfortunately Murray the local antique dealer has gone missing under mysterious circumstances. The trio's investigations soon reveal that corruption plaguing the city goes far deeper than your typical mobsters and speakeasys. Shadowy plots and eldritch horrors threaten the very fabric of reality and Murray's research is key to it all.

The team includes "Jane Dough": a mysterious young woman with otherworldly nightmares and a talent for magic, Nathan Rodgers: a kindhearted simpleton and former college athlete, and Evelyn Rothchild an aspiring jazz musician who prefers to talk her way out of problems.
