Description

The A-Team (aka Alpha Unit)
Vs
The Lagoon Company

When you have a problem, and no one else can help, these are the guys you call.  Accused of a crime they didn't commit, Colonel Hannibal Smith and his Alpha Unit escaped from a series of maximum security prisons across the world.  Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune.  They specialize in the crazy, excel in the daring, and routinely do the impossible to accomplish their missions, usually with a fairly low bodycount for their troubles.  Hannibal Smith is the brains of the operation, able to consistently organize complicated plans with only a minimal of time.  He is a master of several martial arts, preferring a hands on approach to fighting and never shirking from taking a few blows for the good of his team.  Faceman Peck works as the teams scrounger, able to come up with equipment at a moments notice, as well as shamelessly charm the skirt off of any passing female who catches his eye.  H.M. "Howling Mad" Murdock serves as the teams ace pilot, reportedly able to fly anything, but seems to be more than a little loopy.  Baracus backs up the team as raw muscle.  A gentle soul but a proven brawler, able to powerhouse through virtually any opponent or obstacle.  Their vehicle of choice is a customized 1983 GMC van on ground and any number of helicopters and airplanes in the sky.

A motley crew drawn together by fate in the hot coastal city of Roanapur, the Lagoon Company work as couriers and pirates for anyone willing to pay their salaries.  When business deals fall through, as they usually do, they never hesitate to pump the opposition full of lead and always accomplish their objectives.  Routinely doing business with Triads, Mafias and Cartels, they have dealt with some of the most vicious scum in the underworld across the world.  Former salaryman Rock serves as the planner for their more elaborate (and successful) plans.  Eschewing violence himself, he none-the-less remains fearless in the face of death threats and gunfire, repeatedly able to understand and outwit murderous criminals.  Benny serves as technical support, as a former hacker from Florida he can routinely break into encrypted databases and around firewalls with great ease.  Revy "Two Hands" is the teams fighter, an acrobatic dancer of death, routinely slaying dozens with her twin Beretta 92 FS cutlass pistols during most any confrontation... where there is cause to do so or not.  Rounding them out is Dutch, the nominal head of the Lagoon Company and the owner of the Black Lagoon, their PT boat.  He is also very capable in combat with both shotgun or handgun, though nowhere near the level of his employee Revy.

Rock and Benny aren't fighters, which
could be a handicap for the Lagoon
Company.  But Rebecca "Two Hands"
is a one woman army he might easily
be able to take down the entire A-Team
single handedly, assuming Hannibal
does not have his trademark plan in
place.  If he does, no question.  The
man simply cannot be beat.  A-Team.

Personally, I think the Lagoon Co. would win simply because they aren't hesitant to kill people.

Death Battle contestants have any morality removed from them for the duration of the fighting, meaning pacifistic characters can really cut loose without having to worry about the normal qualms they have with killing people.

You know, I've been wanting to make my own Death Battle with the Lagoon Company, but their opponent would be the GetBackers.

I'm not familiar with that series, unfortunately, but it sounds like they don't quite have the numbers.

I will respond like this:

In 1972, a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum-security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem... if no one else can help... and if you can find them... maybe you can hire...
The A-Team!!

That's interesting.  I'd back the 'A-Team', though give me the original crew back from the 70's.  Can't go wrong with Mr. T.

To each their own, I guess.
