Description Here's another Rainmeter-based submission, based on a 1680x150 resolution.

Included are:
- A launcher bar (on the left in the screenshot)
- System Monitoring (either by the shown Circles config in the bottom left, or individual bars for Power/CPU + RAM)
- HDD Space Monitors - Click on these to open the drives
- Weather
- RSS Feed
- Time/Date
- Notes
- Volume Control

Each of the elements can be turned on or off, so this can be used at a lower resolution than 1680x1050

Some of these are from my previous works (the Circles, Launcher, Volume Control) or new modifications such as the Time or HDD Monitoring indicators. For more details on these skins, visit the pages for these individual skins.

The Weather and Notes configs are based on those made by Kaelri - [link]

The icons used are from the ecqlipse 2 set - [link]

The wallpaper is one edited by myself from 2 separate wallpapers, I don't know the source for either, so let me know if you have seen them before and where and I'll attribute them.

EDIT - Hobbes from here - [link]

Fonts and NirCmd (used for the Volume Control) are also included.

Taskbar on the right not included (that's from Windows 7 )

Hey there, long time no hear/see!
Bad news, your skins (even the preview) has been ripped - by terminalbeautyy [link]
VirusTotal Report - [link]
Zip file includes a file named - HobSkin for Rainmeter v1.2.exe
I've reported it as malware, but if you could report it as artwork stolen from you, they might pull it faster.

Looks like the mods got to it before I did. Thanks for reporting it.

No problem, actually I'm not sure if it was dA that removed it or the deviant - so I wouldn't be surprised if they do it again. I'll be watching though.

For some reason the clock runs two hours ahead of my computer's time. It's gorgeous, by the way. Just off...

Rasylver In reply to Emaev [2010-02-10 22:28:07 +0000 UTC]

That's odd. It should be picking up the same time from the same source. What happens if you change your computer clock, then refresh the rainmeter clock?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Emaev In reply to Rasylver [2010-02-10 23:57:46 +0000 UTC]

It changes accordingly. Though what's odd to me is the other rainmeter clocks are picking up the correct time.

Try changing the H to an I in the following section for the config for the clock...

[MeasureTime1]
Measure=Time
Format=%H.%M.

Maybe it'll behave properly in 12hr format.

Works! Thanks, again, gorgeous stuff.

No problem. I wonder why a 24hr clock doesn't work for you.

Emaev In reply to Rasylver [2010-02-12 00:26:09 +0000 UTC]

I'm an idiot. Wow. Yeah, without the modification you suggested, it was a correct 24 hr clock. Which I missed because of the position on my desktop. Er, sorry to both you.

No worries. Better that than broken functionality in Rainmeter, right?

When i try to use the date and time it wont use the font its supposed to be using. I placed all the fonts in the right folders so i dont know what the problem is

Rasylver In reply to calefiction [2010-01-09 10:36:17 +0000 UTC]

If you just installed the font, then opened the skin, it might not pick up the new font. You'd probably have to restart Rainmeter or your computer to get it to pick up on it.

So, either you've done that in the last day and gave up on the skin or you're the type who leaves their computer on all the time. If only I could do that.

how'd you change the regular folder icon on your taskbar? is that the library folder? i cant seem to change that one. Can you help me?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Rasylver In reply to djtonee [2009-08-04 17:49:00 +0000 UTC]

I'm not sure if it was a regular folder or the library folder (I've been using BlackBox instead of the Windows 7 taskbar recently).
I think you can only change icons for shortcuts to folders rather than the folders themselves, so that would be the place to look. I remember having trouble with the folder icon on the taskbar, I changed the icon and it took it a while to recognise the new icon - you might have to remove it from the taskbar, create a new shorcut to Libraries, change the icon, then stick it back on the taskbar.

hey, how did you change the icons in windows 7's taskbar?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Rasylver In reply to naneehss [2009-07-24 18:02:43 +0000 UTC]

There's a .ico set of ecqlipse 2 icons in addition to the .png ones (linked in the description), if you download those, then you can just change the icons for programs by going into their properties and clicking the relevant button pretty much.
