Description I’ve got to keep running. If it gets me, there will be nothing remaining of me, no clues to my family about my whereabouts, or clues for the police.  The shadows will catch me, I’m sure, but my body naturally strives on regardless. I don’t even know what’s chasing me, but I realise that halting would equal death, seemingly an option not in my current wish list. The chances of me escaping are slim,  that tiny chance is what gives me the courage to strive on forward. I’m running through this narrow alley, with a seemingly dead end drawing near. Some may say you live to die, but my decision on such a matter is quite the opposite, I believe in eternal life, one way or another. My name is Raiden Yuki, with Yuki meaning lucky; but in my current situation, It is obvious that I was falsely named. After all, how in heaven and hell could I be lucky like this? Anyway, these things still chase me. No way It would be possible to guess how many, but I am WAY too scared to look back now. I guess this would be what they call “life flashing before my eyes.” Before death, as it appears I am producing an autobiography of myself.  That means the time will nearly be here for my demise. Gotta run faster... man, why did I take the option of skipping breakfast today? Energy...depleting... no. If I stop, I WILL die. No option. Where am I going, anyway? This place does not seem to be in my memory. Dead end? Knew it. Wait, it looks like I am able to turn. Gotta turn, sharp. Quickly and swiftly, I must dart my body to the wall, and bounce off. Three... two... one...
Success.  Flawlessly I succeeded my  jump, It must have looked effortless, as it was. The small, dark alley of before appeared the same as this, but at the end of the path, was the light at the end of the rainbow, or so it felt; freedom in the form of light approached. What shadow could chase in pure daylight? Still airborne, the ground grew nearer, I spotted a miscalculation of facts. One thing decided to throw me to a halt- A jagged and uneven path. My seemingly bare foot hit hard against the rough pebbled stone path. On impact it also appeared that a particular pointed and sharp stone was where my foot resided. It also did not help that the path I previously rode along was completely flat, making it seem all the worse. My body soon fell to the ground, I found that when my face was pressed against the ground, blood arrived at the location my face was looking, and not much thought was needed to figure out it was my foot. Now the realisation of the fact that all that is me is about to hit utter destruction. I gulped, anticipating the foretold events, waiting for their arrival.
Seconds passed, yet, my consciousness still resided inside me, eager to get this over and done with. Still, ten seconds later , my impending doom had not arrived. Twenty seconds out the window, and the pain from my foot about to sink in from my previous impact. I managed to move my head, even though frozen in fear, to the location of my foot, and saw blood sprouting rapidly from my foot, but only in one spot, so not a fatal blow. About a minute had passed. Ignoring any pain, I could not help but letting a smirk emerge from my face. Leaning on the pebbled ground, i emerged onto my feet; or should I say foot, as my arm rested against the wall, and my injured foot slightly in the air; forcing a state of standing, the smirk emerged into a slight laugh. It was all a fake; Forged from the inner layers of my Imagination.
A sigh of relief exited from my mouth.. Suddenly, A sound emerged from behind him; A sort of shriek sounding high pitched squeal; which was quickly responded by me with a glance upon my left shoulder. I tilted my body so I was in full view of the wall previously jumped upon by me. Nothing arose from the ground, nor suddenly appeared. Peering across to the road I previously ran across, fearing for my life, looking down it nothing instantly ment the eye. A clanging noise was heard behind me, but My head refused to turn to meet eye to eye the cause of it. This was a result of the clanging noise was aimed at him, and was a point blank hit to the back of the head. A sudden cry erupted from my mouth. My head looked down, and another collection of blood had formed, but nowhere near the spot where my leg previously bleeding. Soon, my face collided with the floor, or rather; I fell, onto my stomach, but narrowly avoided the pebbles, and arrived on a suspiciously soft patch of stone, rather unlike what had been mentioned before. I established the fact I may have needed to get up quickly, and attempted to raise my left arm. Some force held it down. My face turned to the point where I realised that some dark matter was looming over my arm. I turned my head; my other arm was the same. I felt that my legs were in the same position as well, not able to attain any movement from them. A huge sense of panic hit my system. “Why? Why did I look, why did i not just run!!” The thoughts spread across my brain, and I cursed myself for doing such a thing as not getting out of it was soon as possible, and staying around to find the source of that sound. I knew my time had now come for sure. The dark matter emerged on the floor all around my body, and I saw its shadow soaked into me and dragged me under into the depths of darkness...
