Admittedly, at this point this work is weeks overdue. The past few weeks have been rather chaotic away from dA, and I'm currently on a trip where decent Internet access is, at times, difficult to find. Therefore, I apologize if for the next week or so I'm not as responsive as I would usually be.
An Apophysis 7x 15B fractal, part of the Apophysis Chain Pong, hosted by Pongorama , in which I participate with LadyIvyoftheWood and ThoughtWeaver . This work is based on ACP 10 Patron Saint of Beetles by LadyIvyoftheWood . As with all my fractals, I highly recommend you zoom in for the best viewing experience.

Thank you so much for sharing the flame for this, it helps me to understand how things work... No, it doesn't really, but it does maybe give me the tiniest of hints!
I'm quite new to fractals and I kind of know what I want to do (shapes with fills, and fractals that don't darken round the edges of the image) but I just fumble around until I get something that doesn't look too awful! This is awesome.

If you want a tutorial on splits-elliptic (which is the basis of this piece), Tutorial - Splits elliptic by SaTaNiA is one of the best, in my opinion. It's how I first learned how to make these.
