When I lived in the Midwest during the 1990s, I had the pleasure of meeting one of the most famous personalities in the Gothic scene in America. DJ Scary Lady Sarah is shown here in all her winsome flamboyance at the Festival of Darkness held in June 1996 at the restored Old Vic in Chicago. Yes, I recognized her at a distance from the work she did a couple years earlier with Steve Diet Goedde. She was very nice and even modeled her back tattoo for me.
