Description Evergreen House was the family seat for the famous Garrett family of Maryland. They affected the nation economically through the founding of the first major railroad system, the Baltimore & Ohio, and as patrons of the arts. Their mansion epitomized what novelist Edith Wharton, a family friend, coined as “The Gilded Age.” Indeed, the back court looks straight out of the film “The Age of Innocence.” The mansion is in trust by the Johns Hopkins Universities and serves as an architectural time capsule and museum for its fabulous collection of early modern art and the one of the finest private collections of Oriental arts and antiques. Every other summer the grounds are host to an unusual exhibition of large-scale interactive outdoor sculptures, often very whimsical and avant-garde. I took inspiration from this to do a shoot with alternative model Lauren Gould, aka Miss LoLo, who loves to do the cyber lolita motif and her wardrobe eerily matched the decor of these oddball works of art. I hope you enjoy!

I love the angle of this picture, looks like a fairy perching on the wall of a building or something.
