Rafael took a second to think over what he should do, in the end he was not going to get anything done if he remained hidden. He took a small breath before emerging from his hiding spot, his eyes fixed on the feline and his ears folded back. But once he was out he got a better view of who he thought was an intruder. He blinked at her some, his ears perking back up and his safe softening "...who are you?" he asked with a clear hint of curiosity. She didn't seem all that threatening - or so he thought-, he was expecting a cat as big as his father or something, but she seemed to be just a little (probably more than a little) older than him.

“Oh, ah, well, hello, haha –“ she laughed nervously, trying to cover up her obvious frazzled nerves. “I’m Pump – I mean, my name is Cas – erm, Castalia. I just got here, with my family, we were rescued from the city but ah that’s probably obvious at this point and I’m rambling I’m sorry I’ll just stop talking now.” She clamped her mouth shut, overly flustered and completely out of her element. First impressions were never her strong suit.
