A gift for a great friend a world away. Almost everything about this image is custom made for it. Mane and tail are very loosely based on those of Braeburn, and the character is Billyfish, eldritch abomination, native to Ponychan's /rp/ board.Time taken, 25 minutes on the mane and tail, 4 minutes on coloring and cutie mark placement.

But this isn't an eldritch abomination. It's a pony with very very little Lovecraftian inspiration, but isn't eldritch nor an abomination.
