Oh no you guys look who's fixing to enter a digimon comic tournament. I just love them so and wanted to bring back betelmon.
So tamer girl is Carlotta(after my grandma) who I imagine lives in Southern California in her family of four and has many relatives how live near by so she always has cousins to hangout with when friends aren't around. Which leads her to be totally uncomfortable being alone.
She looks like she could be Dahlia's greatgreatgreatgranddaughter

I wonder if she's going to be doing that shocked expression a lot. I really like how this sheet seems to give a fair amount of detail on both characters' personalities. Betelmon is adorable, and looks unique like her tamer. Is her design based and/or inspired on/by anything?

Betelmon is based on younger me's vague idea of a stag beetle. Now the design is a little more simple and the colors are different.

Well it wouldn't be as much fun to design if they were too similar. And in the show some evolutions were really random like gatomon to angewomon.
