Another more or less meaningless shot from the beach, couldnt even think of a title for it
Looking at it, I was reminded of the beginning of Audioslave's 'out of exile':"When I first came to this island
that I called by own name
I was happy in this fortress,
in my exile I remained
But the hours grew so empty
and the ocean sent her waves
In the figure of a woman
and she pulled me out to sea"

There's something very powerful about this piece. It's serene, yet there's a tension to that serenity. I love the composition, the angles and shadows.

I agree with you when you say that the image doesn't need a title: its captivating power is unleashed by its universal meaning of solitude, a state of mind more than a physical condition, an ancestral concept that each person could interprete in their own way according to their mood and behaviour.
Also, the composition and the color resembles some dalinian creations from the "Rosas beach" series. An ideal soundtrack to this saga of shots could be, in my opinion, "Waiting for Cousteau" a chilly, gloomy, oustanding ambient track composed by Jean Michel Jarre.

I absolutely adore the composition, colours and tones in this photograph. The water and waves blend so smoothly with the sand and it resembles something from a painting. Beautiful work
