Finished experiment comic page.This was really fun, but took waaaay to long since I kept playing around trying to get a style down and playing with text trying to not make my handwriting look like shit. I'll have to figure out how to speed up the process if I want to make a comic like this.
Gem being angry and KING being a pimp. Oh and Zenbi is a demonic voice in Gem's head, there to make her weapons and be a sarcastic bastard.
I might continue from here if people are actually interested.

I really want to, but I want to do more experimenting with comic format before telling the story I have. I also have found that this style if far too tedious to work with.
I am planning something though! I probably will write a test story to have a comic around.

It seems like that's how DA's been lately, very little feedback between artists, it's sad, this place has become so abandoned.

I know exactly how you feel~ It's difficult to find the aspiring artists here.
A lot of people I watch (and even though it's all in good fun) they just seem to shoot out all of their unfinished scraps, or forced doodles.

It's true. Then it becomes hard for artists that do create works to be found. I use Tumblr for all my sketches now.

I need to get back into the groove of art, but it's difficult.
It's as if the second I got a job my grandmother and mother crashed every single other duty onto me and forced stress from school onto me that I no longer feel like I can draw, because I don't have enough time @A@

for me, i've been so bogged down with art that I NEED to do that it's making it very hard for me to enjoy working on things. I get in such a rut because of it. Art can be such a temperamental thing.

There are a couple commissions I need to do, and every time I have nothing to do I feel bad about drawing what I want because I should be working on what I should be drawing @A@~

yeees, and then you feel the longer you wait the more they're going to want from you since you had so much time. It's a viscous cycle. You know you need to take a break and do something with yourself, but you don't want to work on something when something else needs to be done.
